We hope that the new normal is treating you well. My Name is Neil Collepardi and I've been playing drums since I can remember. I am also a software engineer having worked many years at several large leading-edge companies. The events that occurred in 2020 forced many of us to look for new ways to get together to make music. In order to keep up, I've put together some useful bits of information for you. In my quest to discover new ways to make music and to help musicians, I found a that there is a lot of information that was available. Unfortunately, most of it required a technical background to fully understand. So, I asked other musicians, both technical and non-technical, what they thought. First and foremost, they wanted to make music with other musicians and expand their musical skills. They did not want the frustration of spending many hours trying to research and understand things, or going though 100s of videos, only to find that they were contradictory to each other, incomplete, or hard to follow. They want an end-to-end solution that was simple and easy to follow. In short, they just want to be told what to buy and how to use it. Most indicated that they could make a minimal investment. As a consultant, I could offer consulting services to musicians. But in order to reach as many musicians as possible, I decided to put together very detailed Step-By-Step guides based on tested and simple easy to follow designs. In addition, I wanted to provide a way for contacting other musicians for everyone to interact with. I have spent (and continue to spend) weeks putting these guides together and have made them available through this website at a very low cost. I can assure you that they are well worth the cost. For those that purchase, you will be able register yourself (if you so desire) so you can be found by other registered musicians. All I ask is that you do not redistribute the guides, since they are such low cost and they monies would be used to allow creation of new guide, updates, and to provide startup support. |
